While financial literacy in the Philippines is improving, a significant gap in financial resilience remains. According to the 2025 Consumer Finance and Inclusion Survey released by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), about 74% of Filipino adults can correctly answer basic financial literacy questions – an important improvement from 69% in 2021.
